About

Email: ali@thetherapyspace.co

Hi, I’m Ali!

As a therapist, I strive to create a space where people feel they can be their authentic selves without fear of judgement or criticism. This means open communication, active listening, and a collaboration on goals towards your well-being.

I believe one of the most important parts of therapy is how connected you feel to your therapist! Therefore, in sessions, I aim to provide a space where you feel empowered, seen, and understood. All emotions, even our most difficult ones deserve space and that through processing our difficult emotions, we are able to heal.

I would love to work together to build a space of trust and partnership between us. Using a holistic approach, I am passionate about working with individuals with the following concerns:

Having faced several life challenges myself, such as grief and trauma, I am no stranger to being on the other side of therapy and have benefited greatly from it. I do not take a person’s vulnerability for granted and would be honoured to be a part of your journey!

If you think that we would be a good fit, please contact me for a free 20-minute phone consultation. I look forward to meeting you!

What do you like most about being a therapist?

What I enjoy most about being a therapist is the opportunity to help people overcome obstacles, achieve personal growth, and build more fulfilling lives. It's a privilege to be trusted with someone's most intimate thoughts and feelings, and to be a part of their journey toward healing and well-being.

What are some ways you take care of your mental health?

To take care of my mental health, I think it’s really crucial to engage in activities that bring myself joy and grounding energy. To name a few, I enjoy rock climbing, jiu-jitsu and audiobooks.
