I always say - life has 3 guarantees: constant work, pain and change/uncertainty. We are all going to experience these things at one point or another, and when it's present, it's really common to feel disconnected and overwhelmed. I'm here to help you rediscover your way back to balance and well-being.

My philosophy is simple: many of our struggles, whether they're related to trauma, relationships, life transitions, family conflicts, or anxiety, can often be traced back to disconnection - from yourself and from others. Connection is crucial and it is a universal basic human need. When trauma occurs, we often stray away from this in order to avoid being hurt again. This avoidance of difficult things, on top of not recognizing your ability to conquer them - can often lead us to a place of feeling stuck.

In my practice, we'll work together to understand and address the challenges you're facing. This might include avoidance of feeling emotions or uncomfortability, a lack of self-understanding, or negative thought patterns about yourself and your relationships. I'm here to provide a supportive and judgment-free space where we can collaborate to break down these barriers and help you re-establish those vital bonds with yourself and others. No topic is off limtis. I believe in showing up raw, real and authentically myself in sessions, so you feel like you can too!

Working together, we'll develop strategies to navigate life's complexities and rebuild those important ties. My goal is to empower you with the tools and insights you need to face life's challenges with confidence.

Q&A with

Taylor Pagniello

What is it like working with you?

Working with me feels like having a very open, safe and non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts, feelings and challenges. My priority is making sure you feel understood, while having the opportunity to reflect on your experiences, challenge certain maladaptive beliefs or behaviours - and ultimately, reach your goals within a supportive environment. We are equals, on the same team, and working together - my style of relationship building will highlight this.

What do you like most about being a therapist?

I have always found fulfillment in being able to help others, and now as a therapist, I really get to do that on a larger scale. Not only through therapeutic interventions, but I believe there is something so special and valuable about having someone to trust with your emotions while feeling completely safe and comfortable in doing so. Everyone deserves a space to experience being seen, heard, and accepted. Creating this environment for my clients and seeing notable changes in their lives is truly fulfilling for me.

What are some ways you take care of your mental health?

I take care of myself and my mental health by ensuring I have days throughout my week where I can spend time outdoors, with my friends/family and often, with just myself! Going for walks was a covid-born habit but I have really loved incorporating that into my self-care routine to this day. Self-care is productive, so I really prioritize this time for myself to connect back to me, recharge and feel grounded.
