About
You are the author of your life. You are so unique that there isn’t another you on this earth. Yet, while your journey is one of a kind, you are not alone in facing the trials and burdens that life brings along. Life’s journey is often accompanied by challenges that can weigh heavily on our hearts and minds. Together, we can explore your story, discover your strengths, and navigate these burdens in a way that allows you to move forward with greater clarity and resilience.
My priority is that a sense of relief and understanding can be found within our therapeutic space. Think of this as a place where the weight you carry can find refuge, allowing you the time and space to sort through what you want to move forward with and what you’d like to leave behind.
My approach is rooted in genuine curiosity and a deep regard for each individual marking the journey towards self-discovery, and how to navigate life from a place of self-compassion and inner strength. Our therapy room is a place for continuous healing and discovery, and a place for you to always feel safe to come back to. My hope is that you always leave feeling inspired and empowered in your journey, finding strength within your inner world.
I specialize in helping individuals adopt a curious stance toward their life transitions, life experiences, and in navigating relationships.
In our work together, we will explore several themes which may include:
- Understanding what matters to you the most and what you aspire to achieve
- Exploring the unique aspects of your experiences that shape your worldview
- Exploring current behaviours and patterns, through a strengths-based perspective
- The meaning and impact of new insights in shaping your narrative
I truly look forward to the opportunity of working together as you embark on your journey of growth.

What is it like working with you?
Working with me looks like an accountable and collaborative space where communication, compassion and understanding will always be met. My priority is to support you during this phase and offer the necessary support towards attaining your goals. My practice promotes self-embracement and compassionate understanding using a culturally-responsive framework that aligns with your experiences. My approach, combining genuine regard, empathy and curiosity, involves posing questions that help you get closer to your goals. These questions are meant to explore your beliefs and narratives, identify patterns, understand underlying emotions more thoroughly and identify your strengths. Therapy can be a difficult place where long-held emotions and new reflections may arise. I understand how difficult it can be to process these moments and your safety and well-being will always be prioritized throughout this journey.
What do you like most about being a therapist?
What I like most about being a therapist is the honour of learning about your life story, revelations, and successes. What I like most about being a therapist is the pleasure of collaborating with individuals from different life histories, stories, and backgrounds as I admire the beauty in each individual's lived experience. I value being part of a place where connectivity, empathy, expression, and positive regard allow others to find solace.
What are some ways you take care of your mental health?
I find rejuvenation in creativity and expression through various mediums, including writing, movement, and art therapy such as painting. I prioritize slowness whenever possible, in reminding myself of the power in the small stuff— pouring morning coffee, breaths of fresh air— that position my frame of mind, even for moments at a time throughout the day. I prioritize balancing independent time of quietness, self-exploration and interests with the presence of loved ones and embracing the joy of community. By prioritizing my well-being through these mediums, it ensures I am the best advocate for my clients.
