About
I have been a Registered Nurse for over 10 years now, and I have enjoyed being part of the profession; however, one thing that I constantly wish for is more time to delve deeper with my clients. You deserve to be known beyond your current situation! We go through so much in our journey through life, and these experiences can have a compounding effect. Where are you currently? Where do you want to go? What obstacles prevent you from reaching your desired "destination?" We can explore these and/or other areas together. My goal is to create a therapeutic environment in which you feel respected, heard, and seen. I follow your lead to help you reach your therapy goal. If what you have seen thus far resonates with you, please feel free to reach out to me to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. I look forward to working with you.

Community focus:
What is it like working with you?
Working with me means that you have control. I consider myself a passenger, someone whom you have invited into your life to help you along the way. You have the liberty of choosing what to talk about during our sessions. Every session should make you feel respected and heard. At times, we may dwell on certain areas to identify your strengths, emotions, or patterns that have developed over the course of your life. This can be difficult, but you can be confident that you are in a safe, judgement-free environment. I welcome feedback from you to help me improve your working experience with me.
What do you like most about being a therapist?
I consider it an honor to be invited into another person's life, especially since it takes tremendous courage to share the deep, private, and often sacred aspects of oneself with someone else. As sessions progress, it is beautiful to see each person's uniqueness as well as the many ways we are all similar. One of my absolute favorite parts is seeing my clients become empowered with strengths they were previously unable to tap into.
What are some ways you take care of your mental health?
I love traveling! It does not have to be exotic; a simple road trip out of town is enough to relax me. I enjoy open spaces in nature because they serve as a reminder that even amid the hustle and bustle of life, peace and serenity can be found. I also enjoy spending time bonding with friends and family. At the end of the day, I like to unwind with a good book or a funny television show.
